NODE MKI is a portable off grid communication device designed to enable messaging and location sharing through LoRa technology, offering reliable connectivity in remote and adventure oriented environments.

The branding and packaging system were developed to communicate the device’s technological precision, adaptability, and functional character through a clean and contemporary visual language.

Concept

The identity draws inspiration from Bauhaus principles, focusing on simplicity, geometry, and functionality. Three dimensional objects and custom illustrations create a visual system that reflects the relationship between technology and exploration, while maintaining a minimal and highly recognisable aesthetic.

Visual System

A restrained sans serif typographic approach, combined with a simplified map element, reinforces the idea of navigation, connectivity, and adaptability across different environments.

The packaging was designed to reflect the durability and reliability of the product itself. Printed materials feature lamination on double Materika Craft Perakis paper, creating a tactile experience that enhances the premium and technical character of the device.

Outcome

The result is a cohesive product identity that translates the advanced technology of NODE MKI into a clear and accessible visual language. Through structured typography, geometric forms, and carefully selected materials, the brand communicates innovation, functionality, and the spirit of exploration.
